Barbera, a hardy grape from Italy, rugged and adaptable enough to grow all over the boot. The fruit for our Buttero Barbera came from the special Sierra Foothill region of California, perfect Barbera weather and lots of Italianas that know how to coax the most flavor from this grape. Buttero, easy-going but with the character to get along with many types of food, like lasagna, a hardy meat sauce pasta or a hunk of beef just off the flame.
